There are quite a few people that I know of that are in the middle of looking for a home, or are considering to do so. I tell them that when I had gotten my inspection done that all I was expecting maybe a half an hour or so, but this is not the case with you. I can't believe how thorough you were, 3 hours worth, and you even inspected the tree house. The inspection report being e-mailed to me as a web page was even more convenient, since my husband was unable to come, but was still able to see all the pictures to any potential problems, and read all the recommendation on how to resolve them, as well as links to home repair websites.

I recently had a home inspection done by Mike Gauthier. Due to the current fast-paced real estate market, I wanted to have a home inspection completed on the house I was thinking of purchasing before the offer was placed. I felt this would increase the chance that my offer would be accepted because I had no conditions on the offer. The house was listed on a Friday, I viewed it on that Friday, and Mike was able to do the home inspection on the very next day with less than 24 hours notice. This was important because I wanted to have an offer in as soon as possible before too many other people had a chance to see the house.
Mike’s home inspection took approximately 2.5 hours and he explained everything he was doing and exactly what he was looking for. He looked at every aspect of the house that was visible and, with his expertise, determined if there were any past issues or any potential future issues. For example, Mike evaluated the foundation, water drainage system (including sump pump), roof, electrical work and devices, plumbing, furnace (including the air exchange), fireplace, etc.
During the inspection, he pointed out all potential issues to me and even went one step further and explained to me how these issues can be dealt with and the importance and timing in which they should be taken care of. Even if there were no problems with devices in the house, Mike showed me how to use them properly and efficiently.
After the inspection, I received digital narrated report by email from Mike, which documents everything we discussed during the inspection; including a picture of areas in question accompanied by a paragraph on how to take care of it. Essentially, this report is like a manual to my house.
I would recommend Mike for any home inspection and was very satisfied with his helpful guidance and expert knowledge.

We have acquired 3 home inspections for 3 different homes within the last year. We used another inspection company for the first 2 inspections and found the information informative, however still felt as though some of our concerns were not addressed to our satisfaction. INSPEC gave my home a very thoroughly inspection, the detailed report was received the same day " Mikes inspection was very easy too understand and included suggestions on how to go about making the upgrades. I would advise all my friends to call INSPEC if ever they need a home inspection.
